		Glencarron Lodge - The oak kitchen is well equipped with 2 dishwashers, washing machine, dryer, oil double Aga, electric cooker with 2 ovens, microwave & 3 large fridges. The Lodge is ideal for family occasions or corporate events. Sight-seeing and walking - Beautiful fishing villages, fairy-tale castles, distilleries, museums, & the highest mountain road in the UK are all nearby. Both gentle flat walks and serious Munro hill walking are just outside the front door. Fishing – increasing numbers of salmon have been caught on our stretch of the River Carron and on the river system as a whole. Also plenty of trout – sea and brown. SHORT BREAKS

During School holidays (High season, Easter, all half terms, Christmas and New Year dates) only full seven night bookings will be taken.  At other times we offer weekend and midweek short breaks as below.

WEEKEND SHORT BREAKS (arrive pm Thursday or after and leave am Tuesday or before)

2 or 3 night break       costs Approx. 70% of weekly rate 
4 night break              costs Approx. 80% of weekly rate 
5 nights or over          costs the full weekly rate

MID-WEEK SHORT BREAKS (arrive pm Monday or after, leave am Friday or before)

2 night break              costs Approx. 50% of weekly rate 
3 or 4 night break       costs Approx. 55% of weekly rate

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR GLENCARRON LODGE : The Glencarron Lodge  rentals quoted are for up to 18 people and are inclusive of oil for the Aga, and coal and logs for the open fire and of  wifi internet access. Electricity for heating etc is metered at Glencarron Lodge and is charged at cost price without standing charges.  The weekly electricity cost tends to vary from about £50 to about £450 depending on the time of year, the weather, number staying and how much you like to use.

BED LINEN AND TOWELS AT GLENCARRON LODGE:   At Glencarron Lodge and other properties when taken in conjunction with Glencarron Lodge, there will be a charge of £10 per person-bed-change for the supply of bed linen and towels. Bath mats are supplied at £2 each.  There are 6 bath/shower rooms in Glencarron Lodge.  We need to know final numbers about two months in advance please.

Some visitors who spent a long winter's weekend at Glencarron Lodge wrote, "The Lodge is wonderful and the location far more beautiful than we had anticipated. The whole weekend went so well  - the clays shooting and walking ... was a perfect combination.  The remote lodge where we stopped to have our lunch was very romantic and beautiful - what a stunning house it would make [now fully renovated]!  All in all it is a weekend we will never forget - it really was very special indeed.
